PolicyOps · Coming soon
GPOs. Comparable. Versioned.
PolicyOps will be the modern console for Group Policy: compare, version, search, report. From the same workshop as DirectoryOps and with the same attitude: no servers, no agents, no cloud lock-in.
- In development
- Bundled with DirectoryOps
- Date to follow
Planned
What PolicyOps is meant to do
Group Policy is the second big tool next to the directory, and its built-in tooling is even older than ADUC. This is the plan, not the delivered scope.
-
Compare
Two GPOs, or two states of the same GPO, side by side: what changed, what is new, what was removed, setting by setting.
-
Versioning
Every state of a policy stays traceable, with its timestamp and the difference to the previous one.
-
Search
Which GPO sets this setting? One search across all policies instead of clicking through each one.
-
Report
Readable reports for audits, handovers and documentation, from the real state of the domain.
Bundled with DirectoryOps
As soon as PolicyOps is available, both consoles will also be available as a bundle, with the price on request. If you use DirectoryOps today, you will hear about it first.
Honestly
What you should know
What we do not claim
- PolicyOps is not available yet. We will name a date once it is fixed.
- The four areas above are the plan, not a commitment to a feature set by a date.
- The picture above is an interface draft with example content, not a capture of a finished product.
Will PolicyOps replace Group Policy Management (gpmc.msc)?
That is the goal for comparison, versions, search and reports. We will say openly what is in the first release once it is fixed, just as DirectoryOps does with its parity matrix.
How do I find out when it starts?
Write to us via “Register interest”. We will get back to you when there is a first version to try.
GPOs without guesswork. Soon.
Tell us which policy questions cost you the most time today. It goes straight into the plan.
